Can I take my wheelchair or scooter rental to a different location?
Yes. You can take your scooter from one tourist attraction or hotel to another. However, scooters must remain within Washington DC, MD or VA. Also there is no charge for picking up from a different location.
I have not used a scooter or wheelchair before, can you provide training?
Yes. We are the only wheelchair or scooter rental company that provides training on using a scooter. Just make sure your there when the driver arrives and he will answer all your questions.
What is your cancellation policy?
We understand things happen. If for some reason you are unable to make your trip we simply ask that you cancel your reservation 48 hours prior to your rental date. Scooters or wheelchair rental cancelled 48 hours prior to the rental date will incur no charges.
What do I do if the scooter or wheelchair breaks down?
We do not foresee any issues with our scooters or wheelchairs because we perform thorough inspection before each scooter is delivered. However, if something happens while you are renting the scooter or if you are stuck simply call us and we will dispatch a tech to perform an onsite repair or simply exchange the scooter or wheelchair if that is your preference. How often should I charge the battery?
We recommend charging your batteries daily for at least 8 hours. We usually recommend charging them overnight to avoid interference with your sightseeing activities.
